New Feature to Biz of Baseball: Forums
Written by Maury Brown
Tuesday, 05 December 2006 15:30

The Biz of BaseballOver the last few days, the Biz of Baseball has added new content to help you research the off-season. We've presented news on MLB, Minor Leagues, and Independent League baseball. There is Media news, Facility news, Interviews, Articles, Suggested Reading... a lot to read. However, there's been no way to get feedback--to discuss any of the news around the business of baseball.

That has now changed.

The Biz of Baseball has launched forums to allow you to discuss the news that is published here daily. This will be a trial run to see how users enjoy the feature, as well as a chance to see how this feature works in the overall context of Biz of Baseball.com.

We hope you will register, ask questions, answer questions, and discuss matters fitting for the business of baseball types we cater to.

Look for the BizBall Forums link in the left-hand navigation to enjoy this new feature.

Thanks,

Maury Brown

The Biz of BaseballTwo key updates to The Biz of Baseball site have been made today that will be valuable to those interested in player salaries, and facility development.

With the announcement of the A's intent to move to Fremont, CA., we have updated the Ballpark Renderings section of the site with 11 new renderings of what is now being called, Cisco Field. Along with the renderings is data regarding the proposed facility. This data will be updated periodically as information becomes available.

Also today, the Salary Database that was once only available to those who registered on the site, is now available to all. This database allows searching for salary information from 1985-2005 (2006 data to be updated shortly). Searching can be done by year, league, first name, last name, and team.

Remember, to get updates on major additions to the Biz of Baseball site, such as our upcoming interview with MLBPA Executive Director Donald Fehr, make sure and register on the site
