The Biz of BaseballI'm very pleased to announce that The Biz of Baseball and Jeff Euston of Cot's Baseball Contracts have agreed to a working relationship to cross promote each site, and increase value for those interested in researching the business of baseball.

What does that mean for those that come to The Biz of Baseball?

Moving forward, Biz of Baseball will link back to Cot's when a player is highlighted within a story to allow readers the opportunity to see the details behind that player's contract. We also have added a navigation link to Cot's within our navigation tier to allow you to always access the site from The Biz of Baseball.

How will Cot's work with The Biz of Baseball?

The Biz of Baseball is preparing to launch into an on-going project that will detail baseball history from a business of baseball aspect, as well as provide a detailed glossary of terms that are referenced in the business of baseball. Cot's has much of these details already started, and with that, Biz of Baseball has a starting location.

Can you give some examples of what Biz of Baseball is planning?

As an example, we will start with the history of each of the 10 Collective Bargaining Agreements; the dates they were signed, the length of them, the key aspects of the agreements, and any other information that is associated with them.  That's a start, but we look to grow this aspect of the site for many years to come so that eventually The Biz of Baseball becomes the premiere research location for the history of MLB from a business of baseball perspective.

Once again, we wish to thank Jeff Euston for this agreement and look forward greatly to this working relationship.
