The Biz of Baseball has been updated with new data...

In our continuation of providing critical information regarding player payrolls for each of the 30 clubs in Major League Baseball, we have updated the site to now include total end-of-year player payrolls from 1999 to 2010

Select the link Final Player Payrolls under “Trade, Arb, Salary Info” from any page on the site.

Final Player Payrolls

All figures originally published by The Associated Press. Final payrolls for the 30 major league teams from 1999 to present, according to information received by clubs from the commissioner's office. Figures are for 40-man rosters and include salaries and prorated shares of signing bonuses, earned incentive bonuses, non-cash compensation, buyouts of unexercised options and cash transactions. In some cases, parts of salaries that are deferred are discounted to reflect present-day values.
