The latest upgrade for MLB.com's At Bat application sees overlays to access
game details over video

With the beginning of the 2010 Major League Baseball regular season set to get underway this Sunday, MLB.com has rolled out an upgrade for their At Bat 2010 app for iPhone and iPod Touch.

The upgrade involves several interface changes, as well making home and away video feeds available for the first time beginning on Opening Day. Streaming video is available for iPhone and iPod Touch if users have an MLB.TV subscription along with the mobile device application.

A nice addition is the new “video overlay” that allows you to access the box score, field, and player overlays.

A schedule of games for that day has been added (see image below), and in one of the most sought-after issues that has been talked of during Spring Training, the reliability of Gameday Audio has been improved.
