Winter Meetings Gang

Forgot to post this image from the Baseball Winter Meetings in Indianapolis...

Guess you could call this shot the “Baseball Internet Mafia”. In a quick moment in the media work room at the winter meetings, (from left to right) Will Carroll, Rany Jazayerli (Baseball Prospectus), Craig Calcaterra (, The Hardball Times), and I were chatting when I thought a picture was appropriate, tapped the shoulder of Nick Piecoro from the AZ Republic, who was sitting right in front of us, and asked him to take the shot. As someone noted, I’m the only one with (a little bit of) hair. Not sure what that means, but I’m sure I’m not far behind these three in that department.

All I’ll say is each one of them is great. I’ve known Carroll for some time, but didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Craig or Rany till these meetings. A talented lot, with me the possible exception.
