No, The Biz of Baseball hasn’t gone north of the border, but given that it’s part of the Business of Sports Network, I’m talking a lot more sports business in general these days.

That really has extended into radio appearances, where Thursday I was on Papa Joe Chevalier show on KLAV 1230 in Las Vegas. Chevalier has a thing for hockey, so we discussed how ratings are up for the NHL playoffs, especially after Game 7 between the Penguins and Capitals, and how the sports is faring given that some clubs are dealing with financial issues, especially the Coyotes.

With that topic addressed, we discussed my article on the complexities of the PED culture in baseball, and how blaming just the players, as Richard Justice did, or an issue based upon stonewalling by the MLBPA., as Tracy Ringolsby contends, is selling matters short.

Finally, we talked Manny Ramirez’ situation with the Dodgers, and how the Dodgers might be affected. But, why read what I said when you can hear the segment in podcast here:
