In cities where Big-4 professional sports franchises call home, the local team may rule the roost, but when it comes to out-of-market brand recognition, the New York Yankees beat all comers, according to an annual report by Turnkey Sports & Entertainment.
In their annual report, the Yankees were tops, followed by the Green Bay Packers, and Boston Red Sox for the most popular brand outside of the teamâ€™s home market.
The Yankees held the same claim last year, as well.
