The Joint Drug Agreement went into effect in the Spring of 2006 and is scheduled to terminate at the same time as the current Basic Agreement. It was revised on May 23, 2008.

Until recently, the revised JDA was not available to the public. It has now been released, and is now on The Biz of Baseball.
