 LOS ANGELES DODGERS AND MLB TO STAGE “RALLY MONDAY” FAN EVENT ON OCTOBER 2 AT CITYWALK AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD

WHAT: Los Angeles Dodgers and Major League Baseball celebrate the start of the post season with “Rally Monday” event at CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood.


WHEN: Monday, October 2, 2006, 6-8 p.m.

WHERE:  Main Stage at CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood Universal City , CA

WHO: Dodger Greats Steve Garvey, Ron Cey and “Sweet” Lou Johnson as well as current Dodger Officials and other special guests.                     
 

The event will be hosted by 97.1 Free FM radio personality Adam Carolla with musical entertainment provided by modern rock group, The Donnas and country singer/songwriting artists Whiskey Falls    

MISC: Fans are encouraged to come out and show support as the Los Angeles Dodgers and Major League Baseball kick off the 2006 Postseason by hosting “Rally Monday” at CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood.  There will be special guest appearances as well as prizes and raffle giveaways for fans in attendance, including tickets to Division Series games played at Dodger Stadium.

97.1 Free FM radio personality Adam Carolla will host the Dodgers’ “Rally Monday”.  Musical entertainment will be provided by modern rock group The Donnas (www.thedonnas.com) and country music group Whiskey Falls (http://myspace.com/whiskeyfalls).  Street teams from Power 106 (105.9 FM), 97.1 Free FM, KFWB AM 980 and KWKW will be in attendance.

Parking is free to the first 2,000 fans who mention they’re attending the Dodgers’ “Rally Monday” event at either the Curious George or Frankenstein parking lots.
