The following are armicus curiae ("friendly") briefs in support of CBC Marketing, Inc. asking for a higher court to  uphold US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, Judge Mary Ann L. Medler's ruling in August of 2006 in favor CBC Marketing Inc., who at that that time owned CDM Fantasy Sports, a fantasy sports company.

The ruling in favor of CBC, allowed CBC to conduct business using player statistics without a license or paying fees to MLBAM, who has an agreement with the MLBPA to license such data when associated to player names and numbers.
