MLBThe Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Detroit Tigers Minor League player Sendy Vasquez and Toronto Blue Jays Minor League player Matthew Roney have each been suspended for 50 games for (Vasquez for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance, and Roney for a drug of abuse) in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The suspension of Vasquez took effect on Friday, April 27th. Roney's suspension took effect on Saturday, April 28th.
