MLBThe Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Minor League player Cedrick Brooks, who most recently had been a member of the Colorado Rockies organization, has been suspended for 50 games for testing positive for a drug of abuse in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. His suspension will take effect immediately upon signing with another Major League organization.
